Dr. Linda Pao completed the prestigious Program in Liberal Medical Education at Brown University in Providence, earning both her undergraduate and medical degrees in seven years. She went on to complete her Internal Medicine internship at The Miriam Hospital–Brown University, followed by a Neurology residency and EMG fellowship at New England Medical Center–Tufts University in Boston, where she served as Chief Resident for two years. Dr. Pao later completed an additional neuromuscular fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, and is board‑certified in Neurology and EMG.
Dr. Pao began practicing in Florida in 1997, dedicating her career to the care of patients with neurodegenerative disorders, including Parkinson’s disease and Alzheimer’s disease. She held staff appointments at Jupiter Medical Center and Palm Beach Medical Center, serving in multiple leadership roles such as Stroke Director, Secretary of the Medical Staff, and Secretary of the Board of Trustees at Jupiter Medical Center. She also contributed to quality initiatives as a member of the Quality Review Committee at the Cleveland Clinic.
Driven by a passion for advancing therapeutic options for neurodegenerative disease, Dr. Pao transitioned from private practice to JEM Research Institute in 2023, serving as a full‑time Principal Investigator. She now also holds the position of Medical Director.
